First day:

Second day:

■ Breakfast at the hotel.
■ Excursion to the Uyuni Salt Flats.

Third day:

■ Later at the hotel.
■ Tour in the Salt Desert, visiting the lakes.

Fourth day:

Description of the Tour 05 days 04 nights (Copacabana, Uyuni, La Paz)

FIRST DAY: LA PAZ – UYUNI

Upon arrival in La Paz, we will be waiting for you at the bus terminal to welcome you and transport you to the city center, where you will have free time to explore it for yourself.

At 7:30 p.m., our transportation will pick you up from a meeting point to take you to the bus terminal at approximately 8:00 p.m. to board the bus to Uyuni that leaves at 9:00 p.m.

SECOND DAY: UYUNI – SALAR DE UYUNI

Upon arrival in Uyuni early in the morning, you will have free time to visit the town and have breakfast on your own.

Start of the tour at hrs. Approximately 10:30 from a meeting point, we begin the tour visiting the Train Cemetery and Town of Colchani, places to learn about the history and present of Uyuni, then we enter the wonderful Salar de Uyuni, after a few minutes of travel to Through this immense white plain we will arrive at the “Hotel de Sal”, the first of its kind, which currently functions as a museum. On our way we will be able to observe fantastic optical illusions that are accentuated in the rainy season (between December and March), also the “Ojos de Agua”, small eruptions of water that will help us understand the process of formation of this infinite sea of salt. .

Later we arrive at Incahuasi Island in the center of the salt flat, where we can observe large populations of cacti, fossils of sea rocks and spectacular views of the salt flat from the summit of the island. Then we headed towards Pía Pía Island, time available to take pictures of the landscape and some fun ones too. At sunset we will find ourselves in a good place in the Salar to enjoy the sunset.

THIRD DAY: MINOR LAGOONS - E. AVAROA RESERVE - POLQUES

We begin our tour at 07:00am heading to the Lípez volcanic region, where the Ollagüe Volcano is located, which we can see in the distance. Later we begin our trip to the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve. Along the way we will be able to observe the lagoons called “High Andean Jewels”: Cañapa, Hedionda, which have varieties of local birdlife.

Later we will enter the “Siloli Desert” with stops to take photographs of the impressive landscapes that this desert presents, where the famous formation called the “Stone Tree” is located. We enter the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna Reserve and arrive at Laguna Colorada, an impressive water deposit with sediments and algae that provide shades from brown to intense red, where it is possible to observe the three types of flamingos that exist in the region: James, Andean and Chilean. At the end of the day we will go to our accommodation where we can enjoy a bath in hot springs, despite the low temperature it is an unforgettable experience.

FOURTH DAY: POLQUES – LAGUNA VERDE – UYUNI

At 07:00am, we began our journey almost to the border with Chile. Along the way we will enjoy the panoramic observation of the “Dali Desert” with rocks that resemble the work of the great surrealist painter, in addition to visiting the Green Lagoon at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano.

From Laguna Blanca we begin our return to Uyuni, in the afternoon we will walk through the great “Valley of the Rocks”, with remains of volcanic rocks. Arrival in Uyuni at hrs. 6:30 pm approximately.

Free time until the departure of the bus back to La Paz.

FIFTH DAY: FAREWELL

■ The tour to the Salar de Uyuni and Lagunas de Colores in shared mode has the following characteristics: 4x4 transportation shared by 6 people and accommodation is in basic hostels (the characteristics of the rooms in the hostels are described in the attachment). These shelters do not have heat or hot water. To use the hot showers it is necessary to pay an additional fee directly at the hostel.
■ This tour does not include entrance tickets, entry to Incahuasi Island has a cost of 30 Bs (approximately 5 USD) and to the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve 150 Bs (approximately 22 USD), we recommend bringing at least 10 additional USD in currency Bolivian for other expenses. It also does not include the guide service, they travel only with a guide-driver.
